This February, to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month, every Friday we will be showcasing all queer line ups full of LGBTQ+ legends.

CATHERINE BOHART!

Destined for great things - The Herald

Catherine Bohart is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor. Catherine has fast become one of the most sought-after comedians in the UK and Ireland. She took her debut solo show, Immaculate, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 to widespread critical acclaim, with The Times describing it as “the sort of perfectly structured Edinburgh debut you always hope for and rarely get to see”.

JOE SUTHERLAND!

Joe is a comedian, actor, writer and former model.

With a caustic, catty wit and unapologetic confidence, he has taken the UK comedy circuit by the balls, and the circuit liked it. Selected for the Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 and a finalist in the prestigious NATYs awards and Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian, Joe now performs at the biggest and best clubs in the country. Also working as an actor and writer, he has been seen in the movie Pride and written for really cool publications that you probably haven't heard of.

KUAN WEN- HUANG!

Kuan-wen Huang is an emerging comedian, writer and actor from Taiwan, with major breakthroughs on the UK circuit in the last two years. With a unique voice and his trademark quirky persona, Kuan-wen is an alumni of the Soho Theatre Young Company and recently performed for Comedy Central at the Edinburgh Fringe.

HANNAH PLATT!

Hannah is a stand-up comedian, writer and Finalist of the BBC New Comedian of the Year Award in 2019. Merseyside-via-Manchester's finest misanthrope has already been making her mark as a comic, having been described as 'A voice of a new generation’ by The Skinny and 'a voice with something to say’ by Chortle, never shying away from sensitive topics with brutal honesty and quick wit. Recently she has been commissioned to make a Laugh Lesson for BBC3 and written on Newsjack for BBC Radio 4. She prides herself on her ability to take difficult and complex topics and turn them into sharp, refreshing gags.
