The original 1984 album, reissued for the first time since the 1980’s – in violet vinyl. Comes with a “US Zillion $ Bill”; a 24-inch x 12-inch poster with lyrics on the rear – as did limited quantities of the original. Features Snake Dance, Religious as Hell, Crow Baby and two John Peel session tracks. The reformed band have toured the UK, Europe & USA. 16 UK gigs & festivals are scheduled for summer/Autumn 2026.

THE MARCH VIOLETS came out of Leeds in the early 80’s, label-mates of Sisters of Mercy. Releasing six singles, they were a constant presence in the UK indie charts, hitting the top two with both Snake Dance and Deep, and no. 1 with Walk into The Sun. They didn’t get around to recording a full album – their only 1980’s LPs, ‘Natural History’ in the UK and ‘Electric Shades’ in the USA, were compilations.
