Description
Special Friend is a Franco-American indie noise pop duo formed in 2018 by Erica Ashleson (drums, vocals) and Guillaume Siracusa (guitar, vocals). Their first self-titled EP, released in 2019, marked the beginning of their musical journey, blending influences of minimalist indie/pop noise reminiscent of bands like Yo La Tengo, Duster, and Electrelane.
Two years later, their debut album "Ennemi commun" received a wave of positive reviews, leading them to perform at significant festivals such as La Route du Rock, Binic Folk & Blues Festival, and the Paris Pop Fest.
