Uncovering a mysterious series of visions and omens, Ways of Knowing is a dance theatre work which delves into the ways we predict and prophesy the future, from early meteorological devices to corporate trend forecasting and divination. Amidst an intricate system of set and improvised choreography, found text and visceral sound design, award-winning artists Emergency Chorus wield both science and magic to reckon with our precarious present and enter into the unknown.

Ways of Knowing comprises two distinct halves; mirror images, presented back to back. Part one, ‘All the Barometers in the World’, looks up to the skies in anticipation of a storm. Part two, ‘The Spelunkers’, follows a pair of explorers as they journey underground.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This is NOT a ticket.

2. Collect your ticket(s) from the venue’s box office on the performance date, allowing plenty of time to do so. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
