Description

USED TO HAVE AN EATING DISORDER NOW I'M EATING DIS ORDER OF FRIES (WIP)

Why did having an eating disorder in one medium-sized Swedish town during the late noughties mean you would learn a lot about USSR politics in the 80’s? Why are eating disorders a mental illness group we struggle to talk (let alone joke) about? Speculations served with fries.

GREAT DAY FOR IT

“Great Day for It” is a show about the rugged. The manly. The brave. But it’s also a show about the tender, the fearful, and the poetic. When faced with friends we love, the dark, and Pedro Pascal, how long can we maintain the facades we’ve held for so long?

Rosebuds is the brand new comedy festival hitting The Bread & Roses Theatre this month! Forage through a carefully curated arrangement of over twenty of the best budding alternative comedians in town, hand-picked by The Defectors. 28th January - 2nd February 2025.
