Initiated by Yehudi Menuhin to promote music across society and bring together nations in a language without borders, International Music Day has been held on 1 October each year since 1975. We come together the day after to honour this tradition with an exploration of world music that will include workshops with the Lodestar Trio.

Lodestar Trio is a unique collaboration between Scandinavian folk music stars Erik Rydvall and Olav Mjelva, and British violin virtuoso Max Baillie. Together they bring a spirit of groove and improvisation into Baroque music by combining traditional Nordic string instruments with the violin.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This is NOT a ticket.

2. Collect your ticket(s) from the venue’s box office on the performance date, allowing plenty of time to do so. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
