Where to Begin is the spectacular opening event which marks the start of the Edinburgh International Festival, by lighting up the night.

This immersive, multi-artform production invites audiences to gather within George Heriot’s beautiful grounds, for a night of projections and performances. The event will tell stories of the extraordinary creative power that pervades Edinburgh every August, weaving in tales of Scottish heritage and mythology.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.

2. Await your e-ticket(s) from the venue - these will usually be delivered on the day of the event. Your e-ticket(s) will be sent to your primary email address.

3. Take your e-ticket(s) and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
