GRAMMY-award-winning conductor Cristian Măcelaru takes to the Cadogan Hall stage to conduct South Korean violin sensation, Bomsori Kim. Kim, who ‘wowed’ the Proms audience in 2023 (The Times), will play Mendelssohn’s exquisite Violin Concerto in a rare London appearance. Full of ravishing, flowing melodies, it is easy to see why this piece is a favourite of audiences across the world.

As a precursor, young composer Oana Vardianu’s piece Genesis, written for Măcelaru and the Romanian Chamber Orchestra, charts the evolution of music itself from folkloric tradition passed through the generations to its myriad and ever-changing forms in the present day.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of vouchers (one voucher is equal to one ticket) and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.

2. Open your booking confirmation PDF and follow the instructions to redeem your ticket(s) using the unique link or code found in the PDF. You must redeem your ticket(s) as soon as you have purchased your voucher to avoid disappointment.

3. Once you have redeemed your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
