The Battersea Jazz Festival is back for its third run in July 2024, and tickets are on sale NOW! As always, there will be a wide display of top class talent from London at a mix of exciting and iconic venues.
“Shades of Shearing” is a band of top British jazz musicians led by pianist Nick Tomalin, dedicated to the music of the great (and Battersea-born) George Shearing. The show will celebrate the distinctive sound of the classic Shearing Quintet as well as highlighting the work of this influential and important British pianist who found fame when he settled in the US in the late 40s. The repertoire includes Shearing's best known compositions and arrangements of ‘Lullaby of Birdland’ and ‘September in the Rain’ but also features slightly more obscure tunes like 'Consternation' and 'Quintessence'
How To Get Your Tickets
1. Book your desired number of vouchers (one voucher is equal to one ticket) and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.
2. Open your booking confirmation PDF and follow the instructions to redeem your ticket(s) using the unique link or code found in the PDF. You must redeem your ticket(s) as soon as you have purchased your voucher to avoid disappointment.
3. Once you have redeemed your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
