Barry Green is joined by Aitzi Cofre Real for a cross generation exploration of music played by and associated with the great Shirley Horn. Barry lives between Rotterdam and London and has played at jazz festivals and clubs all over the UK and internationally with Dick Oatts, Charles MacPherson, Ian Shaw, Claire Martin, Deborah Brown, Carla Cool, Conrad Herwig, Ben Street, Chris Cheek, Billy Drewes and many others.

Aitziber Cofre Real is one of the most gifted singers of her generation and is already establishing herself in the UK and beyond. Constantly exploring the never ending possibilities as an improvising vocalist, Aitzi embraces wordless singing and is deeply inspired by the likes of Norma Winstone. However, her influences are broad and her unique talent is a joyous culmination of her Latin American roots as well as her love of singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Horn.
