The Play Lottery presents a scratch night where five playwrights will have their work performed on stage.

The twist? The scripts will be chosen totally at random.

The Play Lottery is a critique of the current state of the arts, and a direct provocation to the audience to consider what kinds of writing typically gets selected by venues, funders and writing competitions.

When it's as difficult to get new writing staged as it is to win the lottery, why not leave the selection of a play totally to chance?

How To Get Your Tickets

1) Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.

2) Present your confirmation PDF on arrival at the venue. Ensure that you take employment and personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
