Join Theatreship for a screening of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger’s heady romantic masterpiece 'I Know Where I Am Going', with an introduction by Martin Scorsese.

Headstrong Joan Webster (the wondrous Wendy Hiller) sets off, wedding dress in tow, to marry a rich older man on his remote Hebridean island. Stranded on Mull thanks to the weather, Joan finds herself struggling to cope with the unplanned turn of events. Powell and Pressburger weave their course of true love through flashes of surrealism, a life-threatening whirlpool and an ancient curse, disarming and enchanting in equal measure.

Along with the main feature, Theatreship is presenting a live, bespoke music performance by violinist and artist in residence at the Southbank Centre: IMVN and cellist Abi Asisa. This piece is inspired by and in dialogue with the film.

How To Get Your Tickets

1) Book your desired number of vouchers (one voucher is equal to one ticket) and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.

2) Open your booking confirmation PDF and follow the instructions to redeem your ticket(s) using the unique link or code found in the PDF. You must redeem your ticket(s) as soon as you have purchased your voucher to avoid disappointment.

3) Once you have redeemed your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take employment and personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
