Peak Poetry – David Wilson and James Caruth

48 Arundel Gate, Sheffield, S1 2PP

Description

In its preoccupation with line and space the climbing experience is akin to poetry. David Wilson’s stunning collection The Equilibrium are poems celebrating climbing in all its forms from bouldering on Yorkshire grit, traditional climbs in the Peak District, ice climbs on Ben Nevis, the Alps and further afield.

James Caruth’s Speechless at Inch is a hymn to nature, people and places (including the Peak District). Perceptive and compassionate, these poems tell stories that draw the reader in and remind us of what matters in our relationships with each other and the natural world.
