IT’S BACK! 2Northdown’s New Act Competition is kicking off for the third time in September 2021!
After the success of last year’s competition with the victory of the amazing and super talented Leo Reich, we can’t wait to see what this year brings! The competition is open to all types of comedy acts, with sketch, character and alternative acts being encouraged to apply.
Contestants will compete in a heat, with the winners of the round progressing through to a semi-final round and then onto the final! There will also be a wild card round for audience favourites we think deserve another shot!
Acts are scored on their writing; performance; star quality; originality and innovation. The comedians ranked highest by both the audience and our hand-picked panel of industry judges will progress to the next stage.
