Teacher, mathematician and professional magician Andrew Jeffrey is proud to present 'The Maths and Magic of Rubik's Cube'. This unique talk will take you on a journey through the construction of not just the cube but the numbers themselves.
Why are cubes so hard to solve? How many possible permutations are there? And how do we know?
A show full of mathematics, magic, and some unforgettable moments.
How to Get Your Ticket(s)
1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.
2. State your name on arrival at the venue, allowing plenty of time before the event starts. Ensure that you take employment and personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
Additional Information
• The doors will open at approximately 5.30pm.
• You can choose a Free TFG Ticket or a Free TFG Ticket with £5 Donation - all £5 goes straight to the Royal Institution to continue their amazing scientific education work. Both tickets allow the same entry to the event.
• This event is particularly suitable for ages 10+. As with all our family theatre talks, this event is designed to be enjoyed by adults and children together. All young people under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by a paying adult and those aged 4 and above need a ticket to attend.
