Ultrafunkula was born out of a mutual love of dance music and the rave scene of the late 90’s. This passion drove lifelong friends to take their bedroom DJ skills to local parties, and eventually into London. They regularly host, run and curate events at clubs, festivals and one-off spaces throughout the capital city.

In 2018 Secret Island Party was established with an inaugural event held on a private island in Essex in the beautiful sunshine. Since then they have held events a different spaces, inside and out, across the Island, and in 2021 staged their first festival - Secret Island Festival.

Headliners include house music royalty Faithless (DJ Set), The Shapeshifters, Norman Jay MBE and Stanton Warriors. As well as jungle and DnB legends Dillinja, Dj Rap and Nicky Blackmarket.
