Trunk, Tail, Ears or Wings? Carnival creates itself from all sorts of things!

This is “Carnival of the Animals” but not as we know it. Dissected for body part potential to create the “ultimate animal”, they take inspiration from the music by Camille Saint-Saëns, a little help from Darwin and a whole lot of cardboard to mash up a show full of puppet possibility.

With their own inimitable style Lempen have taken the fantastic music by Camille Saint-Saëns, and an exploration of the material of Cardboard, movement and invention to make an accessible, visual production with no text, refreshingly focused on the magic of puppetry to leave audiences inspired by both the animal theatricality of the music and the creative potential of the simple cardboard box.

Lempen Puppet Theatre Company tour their own unique brand of original stories told with puppets. Imaginative, spellbinding, surprising and sometimes bonkers, Lempen focus on puppetry, storytelling, light, music and a journey that takes the audience there and back again.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a booking confirmation PDF, this is NOT a ticket.

2. Await your e-ticket(s) from the venue - these will usually be delivered on the day of the event. Your e-ticket(s) will be sent to your primary email address.

3. Take your e-ticket(s) and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take employment and personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
