Join us for a stellar line up of poetry talent. Opening the show are up and coming young poets from HIVE South Yorkshire including performers from Rotherham. Safia Khan is a member of HIVE and an alumnus of Doncaster Young Writers. She won the International New Poets Prize 2021 for her debut collection Too Much Mirch. Caroline Bird is an award winning poet including an Eric Gregory Award and Foyle Young Poet of the Year . Her latest collection is The Air Year. Otis Mensah is a poet, hip-hop artist and former Poet Laureate of Sheffield. He has performed at Glastonbury and Shambala music festivals as well as opening for Benjamin Zephaniah. His debut collection is Safe Metamorphosis.

Your host for the evening is Sile Sibanda, spoken word performer and presenter. In 2019 she won the BBC Radio Sheffield This is Me competition becoming host of their evening show.
